Been a long week...

Sunday Sunday SUNDAY!

Walking Dead

Wow am I psyched for Sunday night! Season 2 of Walking Dead is on.I just finished up watching the 1st season. I've always enjoyed excelled zombie movies and shows...this one is possibly one of the best! It's story line and character development is excellently done. My Halloween costume last year was a Liquor Store Customer Zombie. A little explanation for this: My previous job was as a liquor store manager. The customers pounding on the window all hungover begging us to open up a few minutes early at 8:55am always reminded me of zombies lol. Liquor Zombies..." Booooze, BOOOOooze". Not that I have anything against liquor drinkers or nothing. It just used to make me chuckle a bit. Ahhh, the weekend is here! Can't say I really have any huge plans though. Halloween!

Halloween in my mind is abso-friggin-lutely the best holiday of the year. It isn't even a holiday but yet we all call it a holiday don't we? I declare that it be made a national holiday because it is just comepletely spectacular. The crisp cool air at night smells like October. Beach

I went to the beach today seeing how this 85 degree weather is extrememly rare this time of year. I really wanted to get 1 more beach trip in before the very cool and cold weather comes. The only thing that sucked is that all the shops and food establishments there were already closed for the season! I understand that after September things really grind to a halt and business gets very slow but I'm sure a lot of those business owners were kicking themselves in the ass for not staying open until Columbus Day. I was pretty damn hungry and only ended up staying until about 1. It was a good time though. Halloween Costume!?

Top 5 Chain Restaurants

Hopefully there is 1 of them or all of them near you. 5: Olive Garden Quite possibly one of the most ridiculed Italian restaurants in the country but guess what all bashers, it always delivers a decent meal! Plus who doesn't love their all you can eat breadsticks and salad? 4: Chuck E Cheese A restaurant and arcade in 1!! A few headaches to go along with it but those wear off. For a more adult version try Dave and Busters. 3: Texas Roadhouse Meat...lots and lots of meat! Their steaks are very good quality for chain level price. The atmosphere is great and their staff do line dances for you. Probably nothing special for you Texas residents but they aint got your kind of places up this way. Tie for 2nd: Cheesecake Factory and Buffalo Wild Wings Didn't realize I liked so many places til I got going with this! Had to squeeze 2 in 1. Cheescake...yummy! Wings and beer...Yummy!! Cheesecake Factory is so fancy looking for a chain place...each restaurant is totally different and styled to look like a 5 star high end cuisine restaurant. The menu is huge, somewhat overwhelming so take your time. 1. Five Guys Burgers This place won my heart over for #1 due to their unique concept of choosing your own burger toppings. There is 1 flat price for burger and the toppings are no extra cost. There are over a dozen to choose from. Their fries are to die for!!!...hand cut there at the restaurant and melt in your mouth! 1st day on here! Let's give it a try!

So...today was my 1st day of unemployment after being let go from my management job that I've been at for 8 years straight. I took the opportunity of the extra free time to do some job searching.
